Women Need More Sleep Than Men...
It turns out women need roughly 20 minutes more sleep than men do each night because of their proclivity for multitasking: "Women tend to multi-task - they do lots at once and are flexible - and so they use more of their actual brain than men do. Because of that, their sleep need is greater." However, women report having greater difficulties sleeping than men do- this particular study finding 18 percent of women having trouble sleeping compared to 8 percent of men.
